That sinking feeling…

There wasn’t much feedback on yesterday’s ‘blog (there were no ‘likes’) and I apologise for its shortness in length (it’s not often I have to say that…). I was in London at the time (I still am, so today’s will be a bit shorter as well) and I finished the ‘blog whist I was at a friend’s house in Finchley – which is a place where Abu Hamza used to preach at the infamous Finchley Park mosque, I think that’s right anyway…

I was a bit surprised that none of the South African police force got in touch with me, but apparently as they’d just gone past the month end, they had to sit down and calculate how many people they’d allegedly killed during February and do a like-for-like comparison with last month and February last year.

Anyhow, it’s time for today’s ‘blog, which is about a headline I saw on the BBC News website that said ‘American man named Bush swallowed by sinkhole’ – I thought it was very sad news, but perhaps it was karma as a result of all the innocent men, women and children who lost their lives (and subsequent families who were torn apart) as a result of the war in Iraq?

It then turned out that the person in question was 39 year old Jeffrey Bush from Florida and not the 66 year old George W Bush from the planet Moron who commenced a war on terrorists – or tourists, I’m not sure which… and more worryingly, neither was he.

Nonetheless, a large sinkhole appeared in the ground at Mr Bush’s house and he tragically fell into it – unless Mr Bush had just embarrassed himself and wished that the ground would just open up and swallow him…

However the chances of the below event happening is unlikely and it’s staggering to believe that such a thing can happen and all the eyewitnesses to the event said it was the biggest hole they’ve seen since they looked at the UK’s public finances.

As I say, it’s astonishing to think that such things can happen and I’d hate to see anyone in America fatally fall into a sinkhole… that said… Piers Morgan lives in America at the moment…
